Evening diners can choose from an array of well-prepared main courses like an 8-ounce top sirloin grilled to perfection, succulent pork chops, or the fresh grilled salmon—each plate arriving with generous sides that complete the wholesome experience. The hot turkey sandwich, served with creamy mashed potatoes and rich gravy, embodies homestyle comfort food at its finest.

Complementing the menu is a selection of classic beverages, from freshly brewed coffee to refreshing strawberry lemonade, perfect for washing down one of Fern’s hearty meals. Don't forget to save room for dessert—the freshly made pies, cakes, and ice cream dishes provide a sweet conclusion that feels just like a treat from grandma’s kitchen.

Love this place! It’s a great local diner type spot - good for families but not too loud and the food is homemade and way better than you might expect. I love their burgers and sandwiches. The sweet potato fries and onion rings are well worth the upgrade!

We stopped in for breakfast while on vacation and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself has a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The staff greeted us friendly and did a wonderful job with service. Finally, the food was delicious! If we lived in the area this would become a regular stop!

Stopped for breakfast. Pancakes were huge and filled the entire plate. Choice of good fruit toppings as well. French toast was cooked fine and crispy. Price is reasonable and friendly service. Limited parking outside. Did not see an accessible entrance as we took stairs from parking.

Came here on a whim while on a road trip with my family, and we were very pleasantly surprised. I had a breakfast skillet and the flavors were amazing. Even just the bacon or simple omelettes alone are very tasty. Great for a family with different preferences on breakfast/lunch. Terrific atmosphere and staff. If you need somewhere to stop and eat, this is a fantastic place

We feel very lucky to have found this place and will be back to try breakfast. It's a real local diner and not just a tourist trap. The place is very big inside so we didn't have to wait for a seat. Service was welcoming, fast and attentive. Food portions were large and very reasonably priced. We all took leftovers home and they were better reheated. Lots to choose from. Best homemade fries and sandwiches. Pizza seasoning was fantastic.
